status: used but now too small!

Betsy has long pestered me for a rainbow jumper and so I thought I would indulge her.

It was quite hard finding a simple knitted jumper for a small person (she is seven), but this free pattern from Catherine McMillan is really awesome; easy to follow, loads of instructions and a nice, simple knit.

I have of course made it more difficult by adding the rainbow stripes, I worked 19 rows of each colour and had to follow Betsy’s strict rainbow protocol of ROYGBIV!!!
