pattern launch | 24 days socks

I designed these beauties, the 24 Days Socks to use with your yarn advent calendar, super pretty huh? I can hear you shouting “how many ends” at the screen from here though.

24 Days Socks

For the sample I used my yarn advent calendar from Biffsugar Yarns in 2019, together with Cascade Heritage in the Snow colourway.

The pattern is micro-striped with alternating slip stitch details and it looks amazing with yarn advent colours in particular if the colours have been faded together or rainbowed like mine.

The pattern also works amazingly with an mini skein set, sock yarn scraps or alternatively with just two colours.

You will need approximately 50g of your main colour and 25g of your contrast colour of any 4ply sock yarn.

What about all the ends…….

The socks are worked cuff down over 64sts using 2.25mm needles. They include a 1x1 rib and a heel flap and gusset with a standard toe.

The officially launch took place via my mailing list and that is the only place where you get early notification of product launches and a launch discount. I have also included some pictures from my amazing pattern testers Eva, Puk and Sandy in that email. If you want to subscribe you can fill in the box below noting that it’s completely free and you can unsubscribe at any time.

I hope that you like my new pattern, you can buy it now on either Ravelry or Etsy for £2.00 and if you fancy it please share your 24 Days Socks with me on instagram using the hashtag #24dayssocks or #potterandbloom.

Merry Christmas folks and enjoy knitting.
