Thank you so much to everyone who took part in my One Million Views giveaway and the lucky winner, chosen by Mr Random Number Generator, is Lotte Hjorth. Hurray for Lotte and her prize will be flying its way to her in sunny Spain by the end of this week.

EPISODE 81 SHOW NOTES

NEW PATTERN LAUNCH

Today I’m so happy to finally launch the knitted version of my Six Wives Shawl.

This version is made using fingering weight yarn held together with Rowan Kidsilk Haze for a fluffier adventure than we had with the crochet version.

The pattern is now available to buy on Ravelry here and you can get a 50% introductory discount by using the code KNITTEDSIX50 until 13th March 2020.

It’s a very simple and happy pattern to knit, perfect if you are a beginner knitter and fancy something a bit different, it was my first time knitting with mohair lace, will it be your first time too? It’s entirely optional so don’t worry if you don’t fancy it, the shawl will look just as nice without it.

WORK IN PROGRESS

I have got a new video tutorial coming out next week for the Little Roses crochet stitch which I’ve absolutely fallen in love with, mainly because it’s a one row repeat (my favourite), and just uses double crochet stitches (single crochet to US folks). To coincide with that tutorial I will have a new free pattern using the stitch here on my blog.

The pattern is for a baby blanket/play mat and is just stripes of Little Roses using Scheepjes Stonewashed cotton/acrylic blend yarn (washable, yay).

WIPS

I’m currently working on the Cups Socks which is the next in the series of tarot socks to be launched. I’m again using Drops Nord (all the tarot themed socks will be made using Drops Nord), in the Fog colourway and 2.25mm needles.

I’m also still working on the No Frills Sweater from Petite Knit and not loving on it at all. Maybe that will change, I’m not sure though.

Enjoy the podcast folks, and don’t forget to be awesome.
