I'm Emma Potter, a UK based crochet designer, podcaster and knitter.

I'm also a wife, mama, introvert, dog owner, plant eater and head honcho of the fabulous #crochetgirlgang.

I like collecting yarn and 1970s crochet patterns, teaching other people to crochet and really loud colours. Possibly (definitely) a slightly ranty feminist and mildly obsessed with self-improvement, eating plants, pink lipstick (of the cruelty-free variety), girl gangs and simple living.

On any given day you will find me frantically trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing, even with three calendar systems (yes three) on the go, I'm always absolutely convinced I'm going to drop a ball, some balls, all the balls and often this terror sends me straight back under the covers with a cup of tea (the perils of juggling a freelance career with parenthood).

I'm often in the park walking the dog, never in a crowd or watching the news, although I'm not telly phobic, I've seen every episode of Game of Thrones, have a healthy obsession with Jaime Lannister and would never miss The Walking Dead, like, ever (Rick is my secret boyfriend but don't tell Jaime).

All opinions are my own and I'm not sponsored or paid by anyone to have these (often annoying) ideas about stuff. Most of the items I talk about are bought and paid for with Potter cash but if I'm sent something to review then I will always disclaim that in the post. Some links are affiliate links which means that if you click them and go on to buy something (yarn, books, pretty things) then I will be paid a small commission on that sale.
